Turnkey project for an urban rehabilitation entity

Parque Expo: Plan, regenerate and re-qualify

Parque Expo, founded with the aim of promoting the development, construction, operation and dismantling of the 1998 Lisbon Exhibition/EXPO’98, adapted its corporate purpose after the international fair ended. The business entity of the portuguese state directed its functions to planning and recovery projects, with emphasis on rehabilitation (urban and environmental) and re-qualification of degraded areas, without geographical limitations.

Root project 

The Parque Expo group intended to position itself as a reference entity in urban rehabilitation, in a differentiated and innovative way, with an integrated concept of quality urban living (as in the case of the work that it carried out in the meantime in the management and dynamization of Parque das Nações’s urbanization, in the zone where EXPO'98 had taken place). In this sense, Leadership Business Consulting was chosen to elaborate Parque Expo’s 2003-2007 business plan, focusing on the unique selling proposition concept, including the forecast economic-financial projections of the business.

At the time Leadership conceived a project from scratch, turnkey, from strategy to marketing, including the creation of the entity’s website/portal. It was conducted, for example, an international benchmarking of best practices related to companies in the urban and environmental requalification sector, focused on strategy, stakeholder analysis, organizational structure and future trends.
